Richard Harrier began building this track in 1993 when his son, Ashley, began showing interest in dirtbike riding. Ashley started off riding circles around his grandmother's house on his mini bike, which had a lawn mower engine. Richard then built him an oval track with one single jump.
From there Richard slowly added on to the track as Ashley got better. Ashley became serious about the sport and began practicing and racing regularly. By 1998, Ashley became a pro A rider and traveled to many of the professional races with his father.
Richard continued to add on to the track, making it more technical so Ashley could practice. Unfortunately, Ashley crashed in 2001 while practicing only a few days after he raced at Red Bud. This injury caused him to stop racing professionaly. He now rides for fun at the track every weekend. Richard also began riding 3 years ago and enjoys learning tips and tricks from his son.
The track is now the size of a pro motocross track with 2:15 lap times for most pro riders. The main track is for 125/250 riders and there is also a track for beginning 50 riders. Click on the following links for more information about these tracks.
